By rule of middle finger I don’t like musicals, I actually loathe them with a
passion.
Having peeps interrupt (or communicate) a narrative via belting out a tune is not my idea of a good
time. But would I be able to dig musical horror? Didn’t know… until I saw the
recently released trailer for Darren Bousman’s upcoming flick
REPO THE GENETIC
OPERA. The answer is no.
Don’t get me wrong, I loved the visuals in the trailer and do respect the
audacity of the project (how many horror opera films have you seen in your
lifetime…exactly). But I just can’t take that f*cking singing seriously. But
that’s just one man’s opinion, one man’s individual affinities. Tap the TRAILER
