While 30 DAYS OF NIGHT didn’t do too hot at the box office last weekend, I think it’ll probably do some fairly decent business against SAW IV, as they’re the two main horror shows out this Halloween weekend. I’m not really sure why only a handful of folks went to see this beast… maybe it had to do with the posters, all of which lacking the mugs of stars Josh Hartnett and Melissa George.
However, the new international poster is rockin’ the star power, and I have to admit… if this poster was in theaters awhile ago, I think the box office results would have been a titch higher. Yes, vampires are cool and the movie looked stylistic… but movie stars (even the likes of Hartnett) are what gets people to pay the big bucks.
