ANACONDA. Who knew a monster movie starring J-Lo and Ice Cube would still be alive and kicking in the land of sequels some 10 years later? That’s right folks, according to MovieHole, there are not one, but two more ANACONDA movies headed our way, and you’ll never guess who’s the big star headlining the cast this time around…
I could create suspense and mystery, but I think I’ll just come right out and say it: David Hasslehoff aka The Hoff!!! Yes, I’m likely to be just as surprised as anyone out there, and not just because The Hoff is starring, either. But because 1) there’s actually still life in the series after ANACONDAS, and 2) they’re shooting both sequels back to back. In Romania. For the Sci-Fi network. Has the whole world gone mad???
According to MovieHole The Hoff will star as a mercenary-for-hire who accepts a mission from a billionaire to capture a dangerous snake that could possibly help cure a terminal illness. My guess is, he doesn’t succeed. Not much info is known about the 4th film, but part 3 is currently rockin’ the titled ANACONDA 3: THE OFFSPRING. Of course, we all knew it would eventually go there (you know, that whole offspring angle), but what, praytell, will part 4 have instore? Oh the waiting is killing me…
As this isn’t officially official yet, take this piece of news with a grain of salt. The Hoff’s IMDB profile states nothing of the fact that these movies are even in existence… but then again, IMDB isn’t always right, either.
