After months of negotiations; I sold
my horror/action screenplay TRANCE to Upload Films last week
(see its
IMDb page here). NOTE: AITH alumni
and KILLER FILM founder
Donny Broussard
acted as middle man for a while during the process and so did director Christian Viel – thanks for that gents! LMP is producing and
Hans Rodionoff (Lost Boys 2, Tortured Souls and Man Thing scribe) is
directing. Casting is underway as we speak and I know they’re aiming to shoot
the flick next month in Baton Rouge LA.
What’s my “TRANCE” about? Tits, blood, guns – Night of the Demons for today’s
generation was my goal, a clip paced exploitation ride with no filler and no
bullshit. What will TRANCE the film be about? No clue!
They own the script hence can do what they want with it. I have nothing to do with the
production aside from having come up with the original story and having written
the original screenplay. Time will tell as to what it becomes and how it turns
