When I hear about a movie that stars both Melissa George and Selma Blair, you know I’m gonna pay attention and track it as much as possible. Case in point is the upcoming flick WAZ (which we last told you about earlier this year), co-starring Stellan Skarsgård and Ashley Walters. Two hot stars (George and Blair) in one hot movie about a killer and a detective playing a little game of cat and mouse? I’m so there!
IMPawards scored a look at the flick’s new international teaser poster, and boy is it slick! Normally, just a close up of some chick’s face, I wouldn’t really dig on so much, but the presence of blood splattered here on Blair’s face (at least, I think it’s Blair) gives it the right amount of intrigue and oomf to send it above the norm. I’ll tell you one thing, it has me wanting more, that’s for sure!
Early word around the campfire is that this is one to watch for… let’s see how it does at this year’s SITGES film festival. No word on WAZ’s release, but you know we’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear anything. And now… George and Blair, together again!
