Good news for writer/director and AITH alumni ERIC
RED. Variety reports that the Eric Red (pictured above)
scripted, John Cusack/Melissa George starring and Jan De Bont directed
action/thriller STOPPING POWER is revving up to whoop that ass again! As we

reported a while back, the flick was put on hold when one of its key
investors pulled out on the deal like a bitch.

Today, the now $60 million dollar budgeted flick was brought back to life via German producers Internationalmedia
teaming up wit R Media Acquisitions LLC. Red had this to say exclusively to AITH
about the news: "I’m very excited. As I said a few
weeks ago on the site, I knew they would pull it together because its a great
script with sensational people involved and it will be a terrific film."
