Some of you may not’ve heard of THE UNCERTAIN GUEST (above). Well it’s a Spanish film about Felix, a man who had just broken up with his girlfriend. He lets someone into his home to make a phone call, then the guest suddenly disappears. Felix then procedes to go on a paranoid journey not sure if the person is hiding in his own house or not. That’s the just of it I guess. This one has been getting some positive feedback and has already warrented a remake here in the US (to be released 2009.). Anyway, THE UNCERTAIN GUEST director, Guillem Morales, is starting production on JULIA’S EYES. All I know about JULIA’S EYES is the plot, which is, according to Variety, Story concerns a young woman investigating her blind sister’s suicide.
JULIA’S EYES is in production now and will be shooting for the first half of 2008. Guillem Morales is writing and directing the project. It’s going to be using English actors, so maybe this one won’t need the remake treatment. Keep checking back for news on JULIA’S EYES.
