Today marks the end of Montreal’s
FANTASIA
FILM FESTIVAL and it was overall a pretty good freaking time. The
film selection was primo this year, I got to hang with the groovy
Dread Central
team and the usual horror loving madmen of Fantasia. Lots of watching
movies, talking about movies and drinking while doing both went down. All
good to me!
I had many highlights on this run with kool dude
David Arquette
joining me and the Dread Central crew at my pad to chill out after a
had night of drinking being one of them. You should’ve seen my face the next
morning when I woke up and looked around. I kept asking myself “Was David
Arquette sitting in my chair or did I imagine that?” Freaking surreal!

At the same
time, I was also attending the Festival as a… well I don’t feel
comfortable calling myself a filmmaker just yet (let me direct something,
then we’ll talk) so I’ll say; as a dude who had two films he was involved in
playing there. Yup I’m talking
DEADEN and
RECON 2022. Both screenings went very well
and the films were overall well received by the audience. Always a good
