For some people (Like fellow AITH writer Ammon)
it can be easy to just drop what you’re doing and begin playing with yourself.
For the rest of us, it doesn’t come so natural, so it’s great to know that the
folks from
NECA are out there, helping the transition into
playing with one’s self easier to do. How do they do this you ask? Well with
some slick looking action figures from our favorite horror films; that’s how!
It was already announced that there were
some figures in the make for the 80’s classic
THE LOST BOYS . Well we saw the
Mike one a while back, but now here’s a look at Kiefer Sutherland as the mullet
wearing neck bitter David. Lookin’ good Kiefer!
One of the (many) things that I love about
Romero’s 1978 classic
DAWN OF THE DEAD are all the different types of zombies
roaming around. From big fat guys in bathing suits to nuns, to adult men in full
baseball uniforms, the zombies are as much a treat to point out as they are to
watch get killed. Everyone’s got a favorite, and one of mine has always been the
Hare Krishna zombie. I guess I’m not the only one,
because it seems NECA has decided to remember this undead icon in action
figure form.
Now last, but certainly not least is the latest
representation of everyone’s favorite boom stick carrying, chainsaw wielding,
fighter of the undead while trapped in time hero. That’s right, we once again see
Ash from
ARMY OF DARKNESS, but this time he’s in his crisp looking S-Mart
uniform and cleaning up the house wares section of the store by preparing to
kill a witch.
So there you have it folks, the latest in the
movie memorabilia trapped in action figure form. So if these happen to tickle
