Darkness surrounds this poster

It’s been a while since we’ve heard
anything from the Italian feeling opus DARKNESS SURROUNDS ROBERTA, so I
for one was pumped when
Fango
got a hold of the official poster (seen
above) featuring the incredibly beautiful Yassmin Pucci.

DARKNESS SURROUNDS ROBERTA
is
directed by Giovanni Pianigiani
and penned by Pianigiani and Bruno di Marcillo. The film

is about a beautiful but deeply troubled
ex-painter whose new life of philandering and thievery is capsized when a
deranged art lover kidnaps her and makes a horrifying proposition. Needless to
say, the bloody corpses of beautiful Italian ladies pile up, and the police must
get the bottom of it all.

The film has an official

MySpace page
which  is very cool, especially if your into
Italian horror. There’s a feel with this film that is reminiscent of early Fulci
or Argento, so I’m guessing it’ll be pretty cool to see. Of course I’m not
completely unbiased because I friggin’ love Italian horror. The music, the
cinematography, the atmosphere; what is there not to love?

So make sure to pop by the
DARKNESS SURROUNDS ROBERTA

MySpace page
and give ’em a little love!

Yassmin Pucci is f**king hot!
