30 days sequel?

Anyone who follows the Steve Niles comic series
30 DAYS OF NIGHT knows that Niles continued the series in future books
DARK DAYS, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: RETURN TO BARROW, BLOOD SUCKER TALES
, etc.
There’s a lot of them to list, but I’m sure you get the point.

While the sequels are in my opinion not quite as
strong as the original, they are very cool. Which is why it should come as no
surprise that rumors have arisen that a possible sequel/franchise may be
sprouting up around Niles’ work. To this I say ‘Hells yeah!’

First mentioned over at

Cinema Blend
word has it that initial impressions of the film were so
high that sequels are already being planned even though the film doesn’t come
out until the end of October.

I’ve read the next couple of trades in the
series, and like I said before their good but in this writers opinion none of
them live up to what 30 DAYS OF NIGHT was. What do ya’ll think? I know
I’m not the only one diggin’ Niles’ macabre comics, so let’s hear who wants to
see his sequels made.

Also if you want a brief synopsis of what the
other stories are about, click

, but they contain spoilers so be vigilant.
