Freddy is real!

A couple of weeks ago I wrote a
satirical story on
How to become Freddy
,
and while I thought it humorous apparently some people really do want to be the
master of dreams, because some douche in England has decided to emulate
everyone’s favorite slasher from the 80’s.

You can click

to read the full story, but here’s what
basically happened. A couple of guys in England got wasted, and when one of the
guys passed out, the other guy put on a home-made Freddy glove and used that and
a knife to slash his sleeping friend repeatedly in the face and chest.

Subsequently the guy was arrested
and thrown into jail with a life sentence. When asked about the incident, Jason
Moore, the guy who did the stabbing, said he didn’t know why he did it. Although
he does admit to seeing
A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET
20 times and has
apparently made 3 other Freddy gloves over the years.

It’s incidents like this that make
me think that maybe watching horror movies all the time might be harmful to my
mental state. But than I simply listen to the screams of people who are locked
in my cellar and all is forgotten.

. Also is it just me or does anyone else
find something humorous in the fact that the guys name was Jason…
