I just recently saw the 2005 Russian
vampire flick
NIGHT WATCH
, and was pretty impressed. There
was a great modern gothic style to it that just seemed to really hit me. And now
that a

trailer
has sprouted online, as well as a slew
of images and posters I’m really starting to get excited for the sequel that
will be hitting theatres come June; appropriately titled DAY WATCH.

The second in this Russian fantasy
trilogy will show Anton as he continues to fight the
forces of Darkness while simultaneously attempting to find and save his son.
However when vampires belonging to the Dark side start mysteriously being
killed, and Anton is framed for their murders, he must put that goal on hold and
try to escape the Day Watch that has begun to hunt him.

There are now several new stills
(like the one seen below) online over at

Rope of Silicon
for DAY WATCH

(READ ARROW’S REVIEW HERE)
, and also some variant posters
for the film over at
Horror-movies.ca
(like the one seen above).

So if you haven’t seen

NIGHT WATCH
yet, do yourself a favor and rent it this weekend. And if
you haven’t see the trailer for DAY WATCH yet, which hits theatres June
1st, click
