That’s the title I saw myself and I almost blew a
gasket. Fortunately for us, it’s not really a remake of the 1980 classic
THE CHANGELING, but a new film altogether being directed by Clint
Eastwood and possibly starring Angelina Jolie.
This CHANGELING would follow Jolie, who
would play a woman whose son is abducted but retrieved; she suspects, however,
that the returned child is not her kid. The woman must then confront corruption
in the LAPD. Story is based on true events in 1920s Los Angeles.
The film’s being scripted by comic legend J.
Michael Straczynski and produced by Ron Howard. It seems like it might be a cool
watch, but I can’t seem to find what the “true events” actually are. If anyone
knows, spit some bullets to let us all know.
