Magnolia has the signal

The ‘Twilight Zone’, it ain’t.

Way back in July, tattooed mofo Matt reported on Shoreline Entertainment and their killer TV signal flick THE SIGNAL, which was written and directed by the trio of David Bruckner, Jacob Gentry and Dan Bush. The film is being shown at Sundance this year, and has just been snagged by Magnolia for distribution. To up the ante, the official site has made it’s way onto the web, though it’s more of a teaser site at this point.

Why is it a teaser site? Click here and you’ll be treated to, uh, something. Sort of reminds me of that scene from PRINCE OF DARKNESS mixed in with some VIDEODROME for good measure. If you want to check out the original trailer that went missing from July, you can hit it up here. Look for THE SIGNAL to beam into theatres sometime this year.
