Sometimes you wonder when a possible sequel is announced, or you say to yourself , even if you don’t want to admit it. Case in point this morning, when I heard through our evil step-fadda that Uwe ‘I’ll knock you the f*ck out’ Boll has a few possible sequels under his belt, including one to last year’s
The flick would be called BLOODRAYNE II: DELIVERANCE, and would be set in the days of the wild wild west… with vampires! Yewoyza! Word around the campfire is that ALONE IN THE DARK 2 may also be in the cards for a project in the making, as soon as Boll’s done with POSTAL, his latest video game adaptation.
DELIVERANCE is one that I could see, as Kristanna Loken is HOT, and the first one wasn’t that bad, though seeing it on video probably lessoned the blow, as it definitely had its problems. But there was plenty of gore and Loken getting her pound on to keep me entertained enough to say I’d see it again. ALONE IN THE DARK, on the other hand, I’d have to say why??? It’s not one that really needs to be taken to the next level, and would only be made to put Christian Slater back on the screen… and would most likely hit straight-to-DVD.
Nothing’s official at this point, but apparently DELIVERANCE has a shooting schedule that’s set to begin this January. Wow- that was quick!
