A couple of months back, the hostest with the mostest Matt chatted it up a bit about a little indie film called AUTOMATONS. Well today, writer/director/producer James Felix McKenney dropped us a line to say that AUTOMATONS will be having its world premiere at ‘The German Sundance’, namely the Oldenburg Film Festival, on September 7th, with a second showing on the 9th! For more info on the festival, get your lederhosen on here.
Also in the email, McKenney dropped some reminders on his other projects, including his involvement in Jeremiah Kipp’s creepy short film THE POD (which has just finished post-production), Ti West’s TRIGGER MAN (currently in post), and the really big news in Larry Fessenden’s THE LAST WINTER starring Ron Perlman, James Le Gros and Connie Britton, which debuts
at the Toronto film festival on Sept. 11 (ironic when you think about it).
Lastly, McKenney stated that he’ll be at the upcoming Festival of Fear in Toronto starting September 1st, so be sure to drop by and say ‘hi’. For more info on other stuff McKenney’s got cooking, head to his news page here.
