Woods specs update

DavisDVD gave a little update today on the status of the extras for THE WOODS, which hits DVD October 3rd.

As you recall, the extras weren’t revealed when news of the DVD was first surfacing, but that was a while back. Now, the extras will include the following goodies:

audio commentary with Director Lucky McKee and the cast

deleted scenes

outtakes

“Girl vs. Girl” & “Legend on Set: Bruce Campbell” featurettes

trailers

Obviously, the big extras are sure to be the commentary (if it includes Campbell) and the featurette on Bruce, whose currently duking it out with Ted Raimi. When Heather, a neglected teenage girl, is sent away to an all-girls private school located deep in the middle of a forest, students start disappearing and she begins to have horrifying visions. Heather realizes things at the school are not what they seem. She only knows there’s something out there in the woods – and it won’t be letting her leave any time soon.
