The Montréal
FANTASIA FILM FESTIVAL is now in full
effect, kicking it till July 24 (it started on the 6th of July). The Festival started out
strong with an opening party that rocked the Kasba (see pic bottom/right…exactly!) and then shifted into genre loving overdrive via
its film selection.
I just caught
THE WOODS and took in
THE GRAVEDANCERS. Keep
checking the site for the reviews! And then I’m off to the San Diego Con
(which sadly cuts into Fantasia).
As
many of the key films playing at Fantasia have already been covered on the site
(via prior Festivals/advance screeners), here’s a list of reviewed Fantasia Films that
have or will pass! Maybe this can help ya crazy bastards-ettes in terms of
making your own Fantasia “must see” checklist (You have to see
Re-Cycle yo! It owns!).
Its not horror viewing without overly greasy and
buttery Pop Corn in one’s lap!
