A plague on DVD

Fellow creature of the night Ammon reported earlier on the Clive Barker-produced flick THE PLAGUE, which is set for release on DVD this September. DVDActive scored some more info on the DVD, including the artwork, which for some reason reminds me of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD ’68.

Priced at $24.96, the film will be presented in both anamorphic 2.35:1 widescreen and a pan & scan transfers on the same disc, along with Dolby Digital 5.1 English and French audio tracks with optional English and French subtitles. Extras-wise, we get deleted scenes and a feature-length audio commentary with director Hal Masonberg and film editor Ed Marx. What, no Clive Barker input on this one? No trailer? What the hell? With the extras subject to change, hopefully those issues will be addressed (not likely, but you can dream).
