He’s taken on the ARMY OF DARKNESS. He’s taken on RE-ANIMATOR. Heck, he’ll take on DARKMAN. Now Ash J. Williams will take on one of the greatest villains in horror history.

On store shelves now is Dynamite Entertainment’s tenth issue of their comic based in the ARMY OF DARKNESS universe. Written by James Kuhoric with art by Kevin Sharpe, the story has the Deadites gathering under the leadership of Dracula himself, with plans to take over the new world. New York is already falling victim to the vampire plague, and it’s up to Ash and his boomstick to face the curse of the ancients, assorted supernatural creatures and the vampire lord himself before the city falls under the control of the undead. Oh yes, Dracula’s daughter makes an appearance as well. A possible love interest for Ash? There’s only one way to find out.

Head on over to Dynamite’s official site for more info on the series, and keep an eye out for the alternate covers (including a blood-red one).
