Arrow reviewed SNOOP DOGG’S HOOD OF HORROR a few weeks back while at Cannes, and while I’ve never ranked musicians very high on the acting scale, Snoop is one of the few who manages to not make a total ass of himself (take BONES for example).

Today the official site for HOOD opened on (where else?) MySpace.com, and features clips from the film, photo galleries and fan blogs for the film, which is set for it’s North American debut at the LA Film Fest June 27th. Directed by Stacy Title (who also did THE LAST SUPPER) and starring quite the lineup (Ernie Hudson, Danny Trejo, Method Man, Anson Mount, Brande Roderick, Lin Shaye, Diamond Dallas Page, Jason Alexander, Billy Dee Williams), the film has Snoop playing host to three tales of bloody goodness involving residents of an inner city neighborhood whose actions in this life affect their final destination in the next one (no, not that FINAL DESTINATION). Head on over and light one up.
