Draw your Blade

In preparation for BLADE: THE SERIES sinking it’s teeth into the June 28th premiere, Marvel Comics is putting on a little contest which could get you a free trip to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Here’s the deal: contestants are to watch a video on the contest page here, then draw a comic (up to four pages long) based on the video and submit it via the web form on the contest page (remember to scan it in at 150dpi). A panel of Marvel comics editors select the top ten finalists, then Marvel users will vote on one winner, which will have their comic published and get their graphic novel passed out at the Blade booth at Comic-Con, plus a cool $500 in cash.

10 Finalists will also recieve a Blade prize pack featuring lots of cool stuff from the new TV show, which stars Kirk Jones as the titular Daywalker, alongside Jill Wagner, Neil Jackson, Nelson Lee and Jessica Gower. The contest closes June 28th, so get crackin’!
