Henriksen’s plates

Back in March, Lance Henriksen got together with the folks at Sideshow Collectibles to come up with some artistic tiles based on ALIEN VS. PREDATOR. Sure, it sounded like a corny idea, but damn it if Henriksen wasn’t the artist with talents besides acting. These things looked pretty cool (despite being rather pricey for ceramic).

Well, Lance and Sideshow are back together with more ceramic goodies, this time it’s plates! Each platter is constructed of solid ceramic, measuring 22″ in diameter x 2.5″ in dimension, with a variety of finishes. The three designs, Alien Nest, Alien Warrior and Face Hugger, are limited to 10 pieces for each type of finishing at the cost of (wait for it) $750 each. Now, despite the design looking really good, I can’t see myself shelling out 3 quarters of $1000 for one of these. I mean, Lance isn’t exactly a starving artist by any means, right? Well, if you are the type of person whose money knows no bounds (call me), then head here for your dinnerware.
