The folks over at AICN heard this weekend from a scooper who indicated that while the big screen version of comic series PREACHER is dead in the water, we may be lucky enough to see it on HBO.
The basic story, from writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon, is about a fallen man of the cloth, his hot girlfriend and his hard-drinking Irish vampire pal. The Preacher is out to find God, literally, and the damn story lines bring all sorts of twisted fun into the mix.
