We’ve known for awhile now that the remake of Eric Red’s classic would feature a female protagonist. It had been rumored that Jessica Biel might step into those bloody heels, but
has dropped that Sophia Bush () will take the role.
Some might say that the casting of a hottie indicates the re-do will take exactly the approach that horror fans have feared. Namely that it will deliver eviscerated scares from a fresh faced and uninvolving cast. I think that’s valid. This is all feeling very -ish to me.
