Pulse some reshoots

Dread Central reports today what many people surrounding the English remake of PULSE have known all along: the current cut sucks.

Due to poor test screenings of the film, The Weinstein Co. have decided to regroup and film some more next week. Obviously, this doesn’t bode well for the remake of Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s 2001 film. Nor does the fact that the film is scheduled for release this July. Unless director Jim Sonzero pulls off a miracle and delivers what the teaser poster started, I sense another remake DOA at theatres (or not, since Johnny Q. Public does tend to surprise at times).
