The Transformer to our Go-Bots, JoBlo, gave us the heads-up on the new trailer for Disney’s upcoming PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN sequel, which opens July 7.

For those of you who have been asleep for the past year or so, the sequel to the 2003 hit starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley is directed by Gore Verbinski (who also directed the first film, and is currently filming the next sequel due out in 2007), and reunites the above actors for the further mis-adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow, who it turns out owes a debt (read: his soul) to a certain Mr. Davey Jones (*insert locker joke here*) and his army of sea-phantoms.

The trailer took its sweet time loading (JoBlo wasn’t kidding), so don’t be surprised if you end up getting up to go make yourself a sandwich while it loads. Disney will probably spread the love throughout the week, so if you’re the type stuck with dial-up, you may want to wait until Disney makes the trailer more accomodating.

But enough talk, just head here for the trailer, ye scurvy seadogs!
