Sideshow Collectibles recently struck a deal with Electric Tiki and their Hellboy comic license, whereupon Sideshow would be the distributors of the set of “Classic Heroes” sculptures based on Mike Mignola’s comic.
Over at Sideshow’s official site, you can now pre-order the Lobster Johnson statue, which is limited to 500 pieces and retails at $179.99. Also available is Hellboy, which is set to ship next month, whereas Lobster Johnson ships 4th quarter of this year. Both statues were sculpted by Rubén Procopio, hand cast in high quality polystone and hand painted to exacting standards. Both will come will the usual certificate of authenticity, and weigh about 10 pounds.
Also recently announced is a mini statue of Hellboy Jr., scuplted by Procopio but done in Bill Wray’s art style, meaning it’s a little more cartoony looking, but Hellboy still has the cigar chomping snarl we’re used to. The little dude will be available next month as well, at $49.99.
