Word from Dread Central today has casting news for former KNB man and director Robert Kurtzman’s new flick ‘Buried Alive’ (which is a part of Dark Lot Entertainment’s HORROR CHRONICLES series).
Joining the cast for Kurtzman’s contribution are Terence Jay (HOOLIGANS), Leah Rachel, Germaine De Leon (HUNTING OF MAN), Steve Sandvoss and Shannon Schlussel (“Nip/Tuck”), Erin Michelle Lokitz, and most notably, Tobin Bell (aka Jigsaw from SAW). While you probably won’t see Bell as a cancer-striken diabolical genius in the film, he’s still an awesome choice, nonetheless.
‘Buried Alive’, which joins ‘Wanted: Undead or Alive’ (which my fellow psychopath Ammon reported on last night) and ‘Zero Dark Thirty’, follows a group of friends who make the unwise decision to spend the weekend at a hunting lodge, which turns deadly. Kurtzman is directing from a script by THE HUNTED screenwriter Art Monterastelli with Kurtzman’s effects company, Precinct 13, handling all the makeup effects on the entire HORROR CHRONICLES series. Expect more news on this in the near future.
