Variety reports that Laurence Fishburne has joined helmer James Marsh’s psychological thriller PREY. He’ll star as a man who sets out on a solo hunting expedition in the middle of winter and severely injures his leg. He is rescued by a mysterious trapper with secretly sinister intentions.
I can’t help but immediately think of WOLF CREEK, and THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME, but that’s not a bad thing. I probably would not pick Laurence Fishburne as the man I wanted to hunt in a game to the death (my preference would be more like Paul Reubens), but if my idle speculation is correct, this could be one awesomely intense ride.
