Omen international

Well, as we anticipated yesterday, we have a new trailer for Fox remake of THE OMEN.

Granted, it’s not the trailer, but rather an international teaser trailer. Taking recent and current events (Katrina, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, flooding), the trailer seques from the death of a pope to a baby born with the number of the beast on its arm. Toss in some quick cuts of religious imagery, animals going nuts, scary looking dudes and topping it off with Julia Stiles whispering, ‘Don’t let him kill me…’ and that’s your trailer.

Of course, Fox didn’t feel that it was enough to show Damien with 666 on him, so you have the flash preloading up to the number ‘060606’, and showing off once again the release date. Okay, we get it, now stop with the number of the beast crap and throw in some Iron Maiden instead. At least that’d be the price of admission. Head to the film’s official site here.
