The ying to The Arrow’s yang, JoBlo, snatched an exclusive clip from David Slade’s HARD CANDY, which opens today.
While I’m sure that despite the limited release, the film will put its mark out there, since the topic and concept is one that in today’s society we tend to be shocked by in a real sense. Yessir, we do have sickos out there that would attempt to do this, and it’s unfortunate. It’s also unfortunate that despite Lionsgate’s best intentions, it doesn’t seem that their compaign/promo idea would work. If it were done with a larger release and with more focus/promo done on the campaign, sure.
In the end folks, just treat others on the ‘net as you would like to be treated, since we live in a sh*tty world to begin with, so why add more to it? Head to the clip here, and here for more clips from the film.
