Dante Tomaselli hasn’t been shy about talking up his interest in tackling the next installment of the HALLOWEEN franchise. Proving that if you want something you should go out and f*cking get it, Tomaselli had some news to share over at the Guts and Gory forums in regards to that project:
I spoke to Malek [Akkad] last week on the phone and he told me that for many months, before I ever came into the picture, he’s been talking to a certain director about Halloween 9. The film has been in development for a while… He said he just got back from traveling and didn’t have a chance to look at my films yet… Malek certainly acknowledged all the Halloween 9 hoopla surrounding me. And he wants to look at THE OCEAN…
So no specifics, but at least Dante got a chance to talk to the money man, and whether or not H9 is in his future, it sounds like Tomaselli’s effectively opened another door for himself. Gotta admire the gumption. Click here to read his entire post.
