Wahlberg returns in SAW III

Yesterday we had gotten word that Tobin Bell and Shawnee Smith would be back in SAW III to reprise their roles from the previous films.

Now, according to a B-D reader, during last night’s NBA game between Boston and Toronto, Donnie Wahlberg was in attendance and spoke on the film. Donnie said that he would be returning as well, making him the first return character in the series other than the antagonists (that would be Jigsaw and Amanda, for those who don’t know what that means).

Could we possibly see the return of Cary Elwes’ character, Dr. Gordon? Or even Danny Glover’s character? Maybe not, but it’s fun to speculate, isn’t it?
