Well the bad news is that THE HILLS HAVE EYES remake came in third at the weekend box office. The good news? How does a 15.5 million dollar opening sound to ya? Considering this was a balls out, hard core, made for genre fans type of piece – that opening is pretty unbelievable.
Congrats to Aja and Craven for doing a remake the right way and getting paid off for their efforts! Definitely looking forward to what they pull off with an original story.
