I don’t know what the appeal of bobblehead figures is, but there’s a market out there for them. Then again, this is coming from a guy with a Bruce Campbell bobblehead sitting on his shelf.
Earlier in the week, Sideshow Collectibles announced on their website pre-order information for a set of bobblehead figures based on characters from TERMINATOR 2. Scuplted by Hollywood Collectibles, these 8″ figures are set to ship out the 3rd quarter of this year at $12.99 each.
Included in the set are a battle-damaged T-800, ‘Doughnuthead’ T-1000, Sarah Connor, John Connor and the T-800 Endoskeleton. The sculpts, as deformed as they are, look pretty good, though the John Connor head sculpt looks kind of bloated. Plus the way he’s holding that book/LP, he looks to be some sort of door-to-door preacher, except he’s like 12 and wearing a Public Enemy T-shirt. Whatever.
