While there’s been talk out there for awhile, it looks like yet another source has indicated that JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 is going to happen. Ray Wise sat down recently with TVGuide and had the following to say on the matter:
“[Franchise Director] Victor Salva wants to do a third one, I’m pretty sure, and we have had some talks in the last couple of months. That’s definitely on the front-burner.”
Add to that the report over at MoviesOnline.ca that Jonathan Breck (The Creeper), confirmed this past weekend at the Chiller convention in Jersey that the sequel will shoot this summer, and is set 21 years in the future even though no actual script exists yet.
So there you have it. Can’t say that the idea of extending this franchise does anything for me, but I’m always happy to hear that Ray Wise has stuff going on.
