A picture has been floating around the ‘net for a couple days now which shows Pyramid Head from the upcoming film adaptation of Silent Hill.
The debate as to whether the pic is the real deal or not was recently solved by a couple of Dread Central readers. It turns out that the picture is indeed real, and is from the Canadian magazine Premiere, which schmoes can find at Silver City movie theatres if they wanted to see for themselves. Also, the DC boys found out that a particular juicy clip from the film was shown at last weekend’s WonderCon, with a description of said scene on the IMDB message boards here. You have to be logged onto the boards or sign up for them in order to view the topic, which does contain minor spoilers.
As for the image itself, it’s pretty damn sweet the work they did with Pyramid Head, though this version loses the shiny coating from Silent Hill 2 in exchange for some serious hardware (or headware, whatever). Visit SILENT HILL April 21st.
