We’ve been making a big deal about the Flyboy figure from NECA’s next wave of figures in its Cult Classics line, and with good reason. It’s a character from one of the best zombie flicks ever, the sculpt is bang-on and shows how NECA knows their stuff. Plus, it’s the very first figure ever from George Romero’s classic.
Late last night, NECA posted the final packaging for the figure, safely tucked in its clamshell prison awaiting its eventual freedom (or if you’re hardcore, it stays there). Along with the package comes word that we’ll be getting more zombies from the film in future Cult Classics installments! Very cool.
Still with NECA and its Cult Classics line, NECA also posted another packaging shot of Bubba Ho-Tep (from BUBBA HO-TEP, obviously), which will arrive with Flyboy, John McClane and the T-800 Exoskeleton at the end of the month. The cool thing about Bubba is that his base will hook up with the Sebastian Haff figure (aka The King, aka Bruce Campbell), which is coming in series 4, due in the summer!
