Pulse pushed?

Bloody-Disgusting was sent an e-mail this morning detailing the status of the American remake of KAIRO (aka PULSE).

The film was sheduled to be released to theatres March 3rd. However, seems as though initial test screenings were a little less than pleasing, so production decided to go back and address issues with the film. Apparently, being a remake wasn’t cause enough. The new release date is ‘TBA 2006’.

Now, whether this is true or not remains to be seen. The source wasn’t credited, other than being an e-mail. Keep your eyes on this one for the new release date (if there is one). Considering early opinions seem to be leaning towards the film being garbage (regardless of whether the entire film was seen or not), this release date change seems credible.

After one of their friends commits suicide, strange things begin happening to a group of young Tokyo residents. One of them sees visions of his dead friend in the shadows on the wall, while another’s computer keeps showing strange, ghostly images. Is their friend trying to contact them from beyond the grave, or is there something much more sinister going on?
