In a press release last night, Shocker Toys announced that they are to produce a range of block figures based on the British 2000AD Comic, featuring someone who really deserves a second chance when it comes to comic-to-movie adaptation, JUDGE DREDD.

Under a license from Rebellion, the 2000AD and JUDGE DREDD Shockinis will retail for around $8.95, with a release date scheduled for Summer 2006. The 2000AD Shockinis will debut with Judge Dredd, Judge Hershey, The Dark Judges, Bad Company and more from the 2000AD universe. Each character will be shrunk down into 3 inch block figures, and will feature amazing levels of articulation and detail. For fans heading to Toy Fair this February, check out Shocker Toys at booth #5839, which will be in a new section (which Shocker Toys helped name) called URBAN BAZAAR: INDIE ART TOYS, along with their newly acquired GWAR license as well. In the meantime, since there aren’t any shots of said figures, here’s the Judge.
