While we await the arrival of ‘Halo 3’ and the potential film version of the series (stay away, Uwe Boll!), Joyride Studios is set to release the eighth series of figures based on the blockbuster FPS.
According to the company’s official site, the figures are slated to arrive June 2006. Included this time around are Master Chief with Flood Infection Form, Elite Commander (the dude in white armour), the Heretic Elite Leader and the first ever 7-inch scale figure of the Jackal. Keeping with the storyline from ‘Halo 2’, the prototype of the Elite Commander appears to be missing two of its mandibles, which ties in with the Half Jaw the Elite character who aids The Arbiter through several missions in the game. Keep in mind that three of the figures are still in prototype, so they may undergo a few changes prior to June. No word on the retail price for the figures as of yet.
