Good news for Texas fans of the WITCHCRAFT series. According to Mel House, the official premiere of the 13th film in the series, that being WITCHCRAFT 13: BLOOD OF THE CHOSEN, will be at the Alamo Drafthouse in West Oaks Mall on Wednesday, February 22nd at 10PM. The best part about this news? Admission is free. That’s right, no cover charge, no mortgages, nada. To sweeten it further, we’ve got the poster art for the film, as well as a small (literally) teaser trailer. Expect the large version soon, so check back at the film’s official site for more info on it and on the screening as well.

Will Spanner, the reluctant heir to a dark legacy, is once again thrown into battle against the forces of evil when a series of gruesome murders begins to take place. The victims are all brutally murdered in a ritualistic fashion – the heart is missing from each of the corpses. All of the victims also have something in common with Will, something that the minions of darkness will stop at nothing to possess. Can Will Spanner unravel the mystery surrounding the murders before it is too late? Or will he finally succumb to the darkness that courses through his veins?
