Cherry’s Dark Reaches

Guess we haven’t quite tapped the horror in a cave vein dry just yet. Variety reports today that Cherry Road Films and Double Edge Entertainment will produce DARK REACHES. It’s a teen horror pic with about as much double entendre in the title as you could hope for.

The script by Mark Marabate is the story of five teens who stumble upon an eerie cave and get trapped inside, only to discover unspeakable horrors.

So we’ve obviously gone down this hole before, but the good news is Jessica Pare (LOST AND DELIRIOUS) and Johnny Lewis (THE OC) are both in talks to star. Can’t say that I’ve seen Lewis’ work, but Pare has turned in a couple of outstanding performances so far AND has shown an inspiring comfort with onscreen nudity.
