Hard trailer to watch

Today, Lionsgate sent us the official goods for the upcoming HARD CANDY. That would be the trailer, of course, as well as some production stills.

Direct by David Slade, who’s mainly known for his work in music videos (love the ‘Sour Girl’ video by Stone Temple Pilots), HARD CANDY stars Patrick Wilson, Ellen Page, Sandra Oh and Jennifer Holmes. The film revolves around a 32-year-old man who takes home a 14-year-old girl he meets on the internet, with surprising consequences. Judging from the trailer, this isn’t exactly one you want to bring your mom to, and the stills reinforce it. At least there’s a break in the mood with the behind-the-scenes shot. Buy some candy April 14th.
