That makes the graphic tale of students who unwittingly end up in a sort of murder fantasy camp the first project to knock juggernauts KING KONG and CHRONICLES OF NARNIA out of supremacy since they debuted.
It probably didn’t hurt that anecdotal evidence indicates some moviegoers thought Quentin Tarantino directed the flick (wonder how they got that impression).
