Fango was given the go-ahead to show off the first pic from Adam Green’s new thriller, SPIRAL. Starring Amber Tamblyn (who horror fans last saw in THE RING) and Joel Moore (HATCHET), SPIRAL tells the story of Mason (Moore), a lonely artist who finds inspiration in new co-worker Amber (Tamblyn). But as he begins to sketch his new friend’s portrait, disturbing feelings from Mason’s past threaten to lead him down a path of destruction.

The picture is currently filming in the Portland, Oregon area with Joel Moore in front of and behind the camera, sharing directing duties with Green, who coincidently also worked with Moore on HATCHET. Along with the picture, Green says that the official site for the film is up (the link is below), which has film synopsis, behind-the-scenes footage, production photos and cast & crew bios, with a director’s journal in the works. Filming wraps this Friday, and the film is expected to hit theatres next year. Click on the photo below to get the full monty.
