ComingSoon.net dropped a nice interview with WOLF CREEK director Greg McLean today (lookin’ like a playa to your right). It’s got a lot of stuff that you’ve probably already heard, but there are some nuggets in there too.

Toward the end of the interview he spends a bit of time talking about his next project, ROGUE, which is shooting right now.

CS:And how are things going with “Rogue”? How far into shooting are you?

McLean: We’ve been shooting for six weeks up in the Northern territory, and we had to get helicoptered in for these locations. We’re actually shooting up in crocodile infested waters, and it’s quite an amazing shoot. We’re up in this place called Warburton, a kinda hilly area. Michael Vartan from “Alias” is over here starring in it, and Radha Mitchell from “Pitch Black” and Sam Worthington, an Australian actor is over here as well.

CS: So this is obviously a longer shoot than you did for “Wolf Creek,” right?

McLean: Yeah, this is almost three times as long. It’s quite bizarre, because I’ve never done this long a shoot before, so I’m sort of adjusting to the whole night shoot thing. We’ve been doing night shoots for two weeks, and it’s a bit strange, because we all start to end up looking like vampires, because we go to bed at 6 or 7:30 in the morning and get up at 4:00 in the afternoon.

Sounds like that one should be a good time for all. You can read the rest of the interview here.
