As you all probably know, we’re fans of Dante Tomaselli’s (SATAN’S PLAYGROUND) work here at AITH. He’s currently in pre-production on his next flick, THE OCEAN, and was kind enough to shoot us an email this weekend with an update on how that’s going.
I’m planning on shooting THE OCEAN in late January 2006. I was originally thinking of setting
the house, the main location in the movie, aside from the ocean itself, in Rincon Puerto Rico. But now that I’ve spoken to some people from the Puerto Rican Film Commission, and they’ve sent me many pictures, I’m thinking of a different place. It’s called Cabo Rojo. There’s an eerie, gothic looking mansion/lighthouse on top of massive jagged cliffs, which is exactly how I envisioned the main location from the very beginning. Also, the name Rojo means the color red. I take that as a good sign.
